An energetic and typological renovation for a five-story building from the 1950s in Mannheim.
Architects: Prof. Dr. Annette Rudolph-Cleff, Prof. Günter Pfeifer with Sarah Hantke, with support from the Deutschen Bundesstiftung Umwelt DBU (German Federal Foundation for the Environment). Enveloping the building with solar air heater collectors makes for consumption parameters that well under current passive building standards.
